Hi Everyone!
I had the pleasure of "meeting" Lydia Hiby, a very well known animal communicator recently, and we have teamed up together. Many of her clent's horses, mules, and donkeys are expressing the need for milk thistle to support their overtaxed livers.
Lydia has been referring her clients to Half Moon Equine Herbals for our Liver Support blend. A wonderful woman from the East Coast asked me why her horse might need herbs that help his liver function better. I think equines need liver detoxification and liver tonic for the same reasons that we humans do. Her Tennessee Walker had had a questionable background, and had come to her emaciated. The liver works extra hard to rid the body of toxins in times of stress, whether it be environmental or otherwise. As well, our horses live in the same polluted environment that we do, and that can be hard on the kidneys and liver. Spring is a fabulous time to feed our Liver Support, and horse owners should think about helping their horses detox several times a year.
All the best,
Spirit

Herbs for Horses!
It has been a long time since we have posted! Our little upstart company continues to grow via word of mouth, and I have decided I need to dedicate a bit of time each day updating our blog and website. We so appreciate all of the wonderful support we receive from our dedicated customers and their wonderful equines. Coats are looking slick and glossy this year, our new Founder/Laminitis support formula was a godsend for two horses (now sound and being ridden!) and horses continue to love to eat the supplements. Our Quiet Horse has continued to be a big seller, especially taking horses to new places. The Sarcoid Support formula has impressed several vets in our area. It continues to work for many folks, keeping those Sarcoids at bay, or at least under control. Please check back often- I am always developing new products, and love to chat with folks about herbs for equines.

Spring Fever
Joe here. It's always nice when spring, finally, comes rolling in. It always surprises me how fast and explosive the greening of the western cascades happens. Fiona (our soon to be Nine year old) said it best when she said, "wow, when everything grows so fast and gets so flowery, it reminds me of when the Wizard of OZ goes from black and white to color!"I'm glad to hear that our sarcoid supplement formula and topical lotion has been working for our friends at the Tired Dog Ranch. I'd also like to thank our friend Curt Hopkins, blogger extraordinaire, for his help and advice!
Cheers!
